Refund policy

OVERVIEW

We want you to love your CherryLux jewellery. If something isn’t right, this policy explains your rights and how we handle returns and refunds in line with UK consumer law.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL (UK DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS)

If you are a UK customer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, without giving a reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

RETURNS ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition
  • Items must be returned in original packaging where possible
  • You must provide proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation)

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Due to the nature of our products, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Custom or personalised jewellery (e.g. custom designs not listed on our products page)
  • Earrings that have been worn, for hygiene reasons. 

These exclusions are in line with UK consumer regulations.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a remedy if your item is:

  • Faulty
  • Not as described
  • Not of satisfactory quality

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

  • Contact us within 30 days for a full refund
  • After 30 days, we may offer a repair or replacement

Please email us at cherry@cherryluxdance.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item

REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days

Original delivery costs will be refunded where required by law (e.g. if cancelling within 14 days).

RETURN SHIPPING

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for lost returns

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received a refund:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your payment provider
  3. Contact us at cherry@cherryluxdance.com

HANDMADE JEWELLERY DISCLAIMER

All CherryLux pieces are handmade. This means:

  • Slight variations in size, shape, or finish may occur
  • Small imperfections are part of the handmade process and are not considered faults

MATERIALS & ALLERGIES

We are not responsible for allergic reactions.
Please check product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

If you have sensitive skin, we recommend avoiding materials you may react to.

JEWELLERY CARE

To keep your jewellery in the best condition:

  • Avoid water, perfumes, and lotions
  • Store in a dry place
  • Remove before sleeping or showering. 

Damage caused by improper care, wear and tear, or accidental damage is not considered a fault.
